formulations utilise the best from nature and science to provide functional benefi ts that are always backed by research. T e ethos of the company has always been a holistic approach to beauty, health and wellbeing, helping the whole person to fl ourish and make that connection between a healthy mind, a stronger body and more beautiful skin. Arbonne is proud to be a Certifi ed B Corporation –
which means it meets the highest standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability to balance profi t and purpose. Put simply, it’s a company with clear goals on energy usage, reducing emissions, employee welfare, commu- nity impact and customer welfare. “Becoming a Certifi ed B Corporation is not an easy
certifi cation to obtain especially as we have skincare and nutrition ranges,” said Miranda. “It shows a real commitment to the sustainability mission and putting the planet and people before profit like no other brand. We have a list of some 2,000 ingredients that are banned from products. And, because they are sold directly through consultants, they don’t need the long shelf life demanded by retailers, and so don’t need
unnecessary fi llers to prolong their use-by dates. “T at approach appealed to me. And the combi-
nation of skincare and nutrition was something I’d always been interested in because it’s a simple fact that a healthy diet shows on the outside, your skin will soon show signs of a poor diet or unhealthy lifestyle.” T e Arbonne programme is simple and eff ective,
comprising a whole foods clean eating plan drawn up by nutritionists and dieticians and followed for 30 days. T e plan is supported by Arbonne’s nutrition products to give optimal results and to make it easier to switch away from some of the foods that have been removed. T ey are all gluten free, vegan, and with non-GMO ingredients. T ese products include pre and probiotics for your gut, energy fi zz sticks, pea protein powder with over 20 vitamins and minerals, fi bre support, a greens superfood powder, and a cleansing tea. “We all need to supplement. Sadly our fruit and veg
is much more depleted in nutrients due to farming methods so it is really good to supplement and make sure you are all topped up,” said Miranda. A global Facebook community is there to back up the
consultant’s support - providing daily content, eating tips, recipes, meal plans, gut health advice and more, so much value which is all free and with lifelong access. When the 30 days are fi nished, clients have learnt
so much about food, how it aff ects their own body and most importantly they feel healthier, so it is easy for them to continue their healthy habits. “The plan does eliminate foods that can be
inflammatory which can cause issues, such as gluten, dairy and other allergens,” said Miranda. “But we find alternatives, that is why the plan is not a deprivation. “At the end of the 30 days, people fi nd they are less
bloated, they have more energy and focus, they notice how well they are sleeping, they see a real diff erence in the way their body moves. We encourage clients to continue with an 80/20 lifestyle using everything they have learnt and, as they gradually reintroduce certain foods, that is when they realise which ones may have been causing them problems. “T e Arbonne programme will open the door to a
lifestyle change. It certainly did for me, and it does for all those that I support. I’m always happy to answer questions and discuss ways that show people that they can easily make simple changes to their eating and form new habits. Supporting my clients on this journey is immensely rewarding given the results they see and it’s why I am so passionate about it.”
