Demolition is back for another year of collectively lis- tening to- and learning from YOUR latest productions! The hugely successful format, hosted by Dave Clarke, allows producers to receive live on-stage feedback from a panel of renowned electronic music professio- nals — from A&Rs to artists, all with a broad knowledge of the electronic genres. It is returning for its XXVII edi- tion, this year at the ADE Lab grounds.

OCTOBER 16, 2024 ADE OPENING CONCERT: 50 YEARS OF J DILLA


18:30 - 20:30 Location: Melkweg | Lijnbaansgracht 234A, Amster- dam


The world-renowned Metropole Orkest opens ADE with a tribute to legendary hip-hop producer J Dilla, who- se innovative beats influenced contemporary electro- nic music. Directed by multi-instrumentalist Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, this concert will showcase live per- formances from the “Suite For Ma Dukes,” an homage to Dilla’s lasting legacy.


GABBERS WAREN WE


20:00 - 22:00 Location: DeLaMar Theater | Marnixstraat 402, Am- sterdam


This high-energy show blends theater, dance, and ga- bber-rave culture, taking the audience on a wild ride through the iconic 90s Dutch subculture. It follows the lives of three friends caught up in the ecstatic highs and emotional lows of the gabber scene, set to a pulsa- ting 160 bpm soundtrack. Additional performances will take place on October 17 and 18, and the show ties into a photo exhibition at Melkweg Expo.

Eefje de Visser performed at the museum in 2014 with her album “Het is”. Now, ten years later, she returns with a special performance. In the glass atrium of the mu- seum, Eefje will perform completely unplugged: so wi- thout her band and no amplification. For fifty minutes, with only an acoustic guitar, a piano and several voca- lists, she will play a selection of her songs in their sim- plest form. She will only do this concert once, so don’t miss this unique opportunity!
