The celebration of the opening of the Dreamcatcher Raynham subdivision was a wonderful time as the Lumbee Tribe officially opened the second Dreamcatcher
community. Dreamcatcher Raynham is an ongoing development, which will include 30 homes and one administrative office. The Dreamcatcher homes are rental properties, which offer affordable housing to Lumbee families. The first families to receive keys to the first homes were truly happy and the Lumbee People share in their joy. The guest speakers were Mark Butterfield, Administrator of HUD's Eastern Woodlands Office of Native American Programs and Krisa M. Johnson, Director of the Office of Loan Guarantee in the Office of Native American Programs.
