Now we’re in Advent, there’s no escaping all things Christ mas. This evening, from 6 pm onwards, Whalley hosts its an nual Pickwick Festival when the main road wiU be closed to traffic for a Dickensian street market. There will be lots of stalls fundraising for various lo cal charities, street entertainment, live music dhd even roasted chestnuts.
