Rowing in ‘The Real Boat Race’


AtSOOmiles.theannuarReal Boat Race" is one of the toughest


tests of endurance that charity fund-raisers can face.


Two 12-person boats compete against each other, rowing non­ stop, day and night, fo r s ix days,


from the Thames to the Seine. They row in shifts, s ix of them rowing for two hours while the

In training, each team member will have pulled a million metres each on rowing machines. This year's teams row for Help
