AN UP and coming Clitheroe music producer has released a new single to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Dad-of-three Ant Bradley,

who has lived in the town for ayyears, wants to raise £2,500 for the charity after his uncle, John Bolton (65), had part of his bowel removed recently because of the disease.

Ant, whose dance music

has attracted the attention of Universal Records, also

recently had a cancer scare

when hewasadvisedbyhisGP to have an unknown mouth lesion checked out at hospital. He was given the all-clear by

an oral and maxillofacial spe

cialist, but is on the waiting list for a biopsy as a precau tion.

He said: “I wanted to do

some good with this track and 1 want to raise as much as pos sible.”

All of the profits from the instrumental single. Ant Brad

ley 2012, will go to the charity. Readers can find it by search ing this on iTunes and Google

giving back to people. It af

Play. The uplifting track costs 99p. “A big side of doing this is

fected me, and is still doing so really, but others have had

worseexperiences and I hope this goes some way to helping

Cancer Research UK,” he said. “I’m hoping that Clitheroe

and the surrounding areas will get behind and support this campaign as a community.”

He is currently working bn vocal edit version in his

studio which is planned to be released later this year. Ant’s wife, Rachel, said:

“It’s a really good cause to raise

money for and I’m so proud of him. Cancer has affected our family quite recently and this way he can help others who have been affected by it. It’s been hard for him to get where he is today, but I think this single is the start of something big.”

Jane Bullock, of Cancer

Research UK, said: “We rely entirely on the fund-raising ef forts of individuals such as Ant to fund our pioneering work.”
