GKtheroe’s St George’s eelebrations at eastle
Clitheroe Castle Museum hosted an extravaganza of knights, princesses and dragons during its George and the Dragon weekend. On both Saturday
and Sunday young sters had the chance . to meet the knights, handle armour, watch combat, tty theirhand at jousting and slay the dragon. Rachel Jackson,
managerofthecoun- tycouncil’s Clitheroe Castle Museum, said: “The theme for this April’s activities is knights, princesses and dragons which should really cap-. ture children’s im aginations. As well as these activities, there are other ex hibits and artefacts within the museum that help bring the past to life - it’s well worth a visit.”
