THE Chatburn and District Branch of the Royal British Legion is hosting its annual cheese and wine garden party at Well House, Grindleton, this Sun day, June 26th, from 2 to 6 p.m. This is always a popular event and this year the fantastic Eric Ainsworth Jazz duo will be entertain ing while you relax in the sun with friends. There will be a tombola, raffle and produce stall and proceeds are for the Poppy Appeal to support the armed forces serving and ex-serving personnel and their families who need our help.
