IN a sought-after location, with a large garden and tandem garage, and boasting light and spacious accommodation with up to five bedrooms, this week’s Home of Distinction is a very fine property indeed. On anderton bosonnet’s books
throughout, this property benefits from underfloor heating in the kitchen and en-suite, oak flooring in the hall and living room and is wired for satellite TV in the study, living room and the three first floor bedrooms. This home demands viewing
to be fully appreciated, but here is a brief resume of the accom modation. A hallway connects all the ground floor rooms and has a two-piece cloakroom off. The living room, flooded with natural light, has a Living Flame gas fire in a stone fireplace and French doors to the rear garden, while the dining room can easily accommodate a
large gathering. A separate snug is currently used as a study but could also be a playroom, while the stunning dining kitchen has a con- temporary-styled range of maple- fronted fitted units with contrasting counters, tiled splashbacks and fit ted appliances including an electric oven, gas hob and dishwasher. There is also an ample area for
informal dining and, just around the comer, a small conservatory overlooking the garden, ideal for enjoying a coffee and a good book. A separate utility room is plumbed for a washing machine and houses the central heating boiler. On the first floor arc three
double bedrooms, all with built-in furniture and the master with a separate dressing area and stylish en-suite shower room. Also on this floor, the house bathroom has a bath, shower cubicle and washba sin, with a separate WC next door. In the attic are two further bed
rooms, a double and a single, which could be combined as a teenager’s suite. Outside is a detached brick- built tandem garage plus off-road parking for two vehicles to the front, while the large rear garden, bounded by mature hedging and planting, is bathed in sunlight for most of the day and offers views of Fondle I-Iill and the Castle Keep.
