i. On leaving school Robert (19), of Clitheroe, realised he wanted to learn a trade “on-the-job” while a studying for an academic qualification, as opposed to the traditional route of going to college and gaining A Levels.


, He started his apprenticeship in 2007 and is presently in the third year of his en­ gineering programme. ;•


Robert is currently part of the busy electrical maintenance team at Hanson
