the hospital had four busy wards ac commodating 101 patients.We were expected to work 44 hours a week. “It was always full and there were

When it was time for the Christmas dinner, there were a group of Clit heroe first-aiders who would arrive at the hospital to watch the patients while the nursing staff - all 60 of them-would go to the dining room and eat the festive dinner.”
