Mountaineers’ busy weekend


•FIFTEEN members of Clitheroe Mountaineering Club attended the weekend away at Stair in'the/ Newlands Valley, near Keswick. ,On the Saturday the majority of members set off:


up Causey Tike and on to Crag-Rill,: Sand Hill;: Hopegill Head, Gnsedale Pike and returned-via' the village of Braithwaite.


Other members did a scramble'oii Dale Head '


Pillar then on to Hindscarth and Robinson. ' / The weather was-hot and sunny and livonderful'


views were enjoyed by all. On Sunday, another sunny day with clear blue/
