This year, as a result of the current climate, show organisers have taken extra measures to ensure that visitors have an affordable week­ end by reducing ticket prices and providing more free attrac-. tions for children. Also new this year is a Motor­


bike Display Area featuring vin­ tage and classics through to modem motorbikes, as well two displays on both days from famous stunt rider Neil Porter. The model railway layout will also be bigger this year. The portable track of the Gauge One Model Railway Society will see working engines powered by steam generated from coal, methylated spirit and gas. There will also be a wide range


of bands on both days including a Cliff Richard look-a-like. The Savoy Jazz Band and Juke Box Eddys,.playing hits from the ’50s and’60s, Laurel and Hardy will also be spotted around the showground. The weekend will come to a thrilling finale on Sun­ day at 5 p.m. with a breathtak­ ing 20-minute Battle of Britain
