within one shot after the two rounds, as previous champi on Mark Ashworth m i s ^ out by one shot. Ashworth posted a 152
aggregate, but young Andrew Heesom, with the same score and a better sec ond leg, pipped him for third prize. Top of the shop with a
one-shot advantage were one handicap Nathan Dunn and four handicap Andrew Henderson. Dunn dropped a shot at
the tricky par three 17th which effectively cost him the championship, because Henderson birdied the 18th to force a play-off. Dunn started the stronger
