FOR centuries an ancient Ribble Valley Church has provided a focal point for harvest celebrations, and will do so again this week end. St Wilfrid’s Church, Ribchester, will showcase a wide variety of local produce when it stages a harvest market on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. The historic 11th Century church, its
grounds and the church hall will all be used to display a wide variety of foodstuffs from around 30 local producers.

Whitchurch Lane, Bristol, BD14 OTJ, has applied to Ribble Valley Borough Council for a permit to operate an installation for the unloading of petroleum spirit and any directly associat ed activities, specified under Part B of the Pollution Prevention and Control Regulations 2000.
The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. The application has been placed on the public register held at: Ribble Valley Borough Council. Church Walk. Clitheroe, Lancashire. BB7 2RA and is available for inspection at the Environmental Health Reception between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. There is no charge for inspecting the public register.
Any written comments on the application should be made to the local authority within 28 days of the date of this adver tisement.
