A NEW exhibition has been launched at the Platform Gallery which introduces Blackburn based artist Halima Cassell. This is a major touring exhibition of ceramics


entitled “Carved Earth” showing existing and newly commissioned work, curated by Bolton Museum, Art Gallery and Aquarium and Shisha. Cassell’s work takes the form of large carved vessels and wall pieces. Each piece is hand carved from thick clay and can take up to 80 painstaking hours to complete.
