FINDING NEVERLAND (PG); at Stage and Screen; from tomorrow

WIN! Family tickets to the cinema N.‘

PANTOMIME favourite Peter Pan never fails to enchant children of all ages - but how was the fairyta le

born? “Finding Neverland” details the

real life experiences of author J.M. Barrie, which led him to write the children's classic. Through a chance encounter in a park he got to know four young boys and their mother. Drawing from his time with the chil dren, he writes a story about chil dren who do not want to grow up. Director Marc Forster's film is a

tale of magic and fantasy, set in Lon don in 1904 and starring Johnny Depp. I t follows Barrie’s creative journey, from his first inspiration for the story up to the play’s premiere at the Duke of York 'Theatre. Other stars include Kate Winslet,

Dustin Hoffman and Ian Hart, with an entertaining cameo from comedi an Paul Whitehouse. The film is showing a t Stage and Screen, Church Brow, with the new “Bridget Jones” film back by popular demand on Wednesday and 'Thursday.
