NOTICE IS H ER EB Y GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to prohibit temporarily any pedestrian from proceeding over that length of Public Footpath No. 5, Clitheroe, in the Borough of Ribbie Valley, indicated below:- That part of Public Footpath No. 5, Clitheroe, Borough of Ribbie Valley, from a point at its junction with Salthill Road, Clitheroe, (GR.7496 4238), in a general north­ easterly direction for a distance of approximately 245 metres, to a point at its junction with Lincoln Way, Clitheroe, (GR.7520 4242). No alternative route is available. The closure is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public whilst United Utilities (Electricity) pic cany out work to the Padiham to Ribblesdale Overhead Une.
