RUMOURS that Salford Post Office in Whalley Road, Clitheroe, may be facing clo­ sure were circulating this


week. When the rumours came to


light, the Clitheroe Advertiser and Times contac ted Royal Mail. A spokesman for the company

Post offices to close?

Club night for young people


A SECOND club night for local young people will be held a t Rendezvous in "Whalley tomorrow in conjunction with Whalley police. Aimed at 11-to- 16-year-olds-
