ICE editions are based respectively around the company’s supermini family hatchback and medium range saloon offerings. The ICE designation refers to the fact that all come with air conditioning as standard. In the case of the £6,995 Rio version, that is the car’s only really notable fitment, effectively being offered for just £100 more than the Rio 1.3L on which this variant is based. The Shuma II ICE effectively takes an
entry-level Shuma II 1.6 (£8,995) and adds on the air conditioning at no extra cost. Evidence that this particular range is not one of those contributing much to Kia’s “fastest growing franchise”. Confirmation of this comes with the news that there is £1,000 cashback on
every Shuma II model purchased while stocks last.
