Rewarding people
who really deserve it PEOPLE who work behind the scenes of local charities rarely receive the true recogni tion that they so right
ly deserve. Now th ey will, as
Downham's Millennium Masque seeks to reward them for their efforts. Six tickets for the Millen nium Masque have been
donated to three patrons of local charities to reward their backroom staff for their dedication. They include Lady Shut

tleworth, Lady Clitheroe and Mrs Chesters, wife of the Bishop of Blackburn. The workers they have
selected come from a range of charities, such as the Red Cross, Friends of Chernobyl Children and Cancer Con cern.
