Lancashire County Council propose to make an Order under Section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation . Act, 1967, as amended arid by Section 1 of the Heavy Commercial Vehicles (Controls and Regulations) Act, 1973, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause any vehicle, the unladen weight of w h ic h e x c e e d s 3 to n s , constructed or adapted for the carriage of goods, to proceed, except for certain exemptions which are set out in the Order, on any of the roads within the boundary of the Pendle Hill Zone formed by the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The lengths of road forming the boundary and Trunk Road A.59 will not be the subject of this restriction.
