Academy players are coached by Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy staff who come into school to deliver sessions, ensuring training reflects the methodology, intensity and expectations of a Category One professional academy. Students also have the opportunity to access and train within the club’s academy facilities each week, further embedding them in a genuine elite-performance environment.
In addition, Lucton uses Sixways Stadium as its home fixtures venue, providing students with the experience of competing in a professional stadium setting that mirrors the standards of the professional game.
The programme is led by former professional footballer Asa Hall, whose distinguished career included over 600 senior appearances, supported by an expert coaching and performance team. Together, they deliver a structured training programme designed to develop technical ability, tactical intelligence, physical performance and mental resilience.
