WHAT’S ON IN YOUR COUNT Y RHOD REFLECTS ON LIFE

Rhod was in the middle of a massive tour when COVID 19 brought curtains down in theatres everywhere, but now he's back on the road and adding a load more extra dates due to phenomenal demand.

This show sees Rhod as funny as ever, but like never before. It’s a little bit raw, very personal, and brutally honest; no more lies, no more nonsense. This is Rhod, but different, the same, but not. It’s a show about hitting rock bottom, and just when you think things can’t get any worse, you meet a bloke…a bloke called John. See Rhod at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall on April 9.

Heather Small, born January 1965, grew up on a West London council estate. From going to Sunday school and attending the 'Good News Club', religion and faith became an important aspect of Heather's life.

Growing up in 70's Britain and not wanting to be stereotyped or treated differently, Heather knew that she wanted to make something of herself. Her break came in the 90s when she became the lead singer with M People, amassing record sales of over 10 million, with hits including Moving on Up, One Night In Heaven and Search for the Hero, before she embarked on a solo career.

She’s at the Symphony Hall on April 8 singing both M People and her solo hits.

A DANCE-CIRCUS ADVENTURE Motionhouse bring their fast-moving and highly physical dance show Nobody to the Warwick Art Centre this month, exploring the tension between our inner lives and how we make sense of the world around us.

Motionhouse’s renowned dance-circus style combines with mesmerising choreography to tell this emotional and ultimately uplifting story, full of twists and turns. Packed with visual magic, the world on stage is transformed before the audience’s eyes. Digital projections and the shape-shifting set create a constantly changing environment where nothing is quite what it seems...

The show follows seven characters on their journey of self-discovery to find strength and support in each other, while a group of curious crows questions their every move. As they negotiate their ever- changing reality, the performers search for answers as the world unravels around them. Can they work together to find out who they are?

Nobody is a spellbinding and strikingly visual adventure – a highly relevant and moving show that resonates with the times we live in. See it from Wednesday April 27 to Saturday April 30.
