One of the world’s most celebrated chefs, Raymond Blanc OBE, will be making a guest appearance at this year’s Malvern Spring Festival in May. This month editor Sally-ann Bloomer caught up with him to talk about all things food.
Raymond Blanc is a busy man. When we speak he’s just returned from a working holiday to Iceland where he was cooking at the Blue Lagoon in Iceland, a place he describes as one of the most beautiful in the world….and this from the man who calls Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire home.
The Cotswolds hotel is widely considered to be one of the country’s finest with exquisite dining. Back in 1984, in its first year of opening, it was awarded two coveted Michelin stars and remarkably has managed to retain them ever since. Quite an achievement.
