with Nina Campbell. He started his career on The World of Interiors, has held senior positions on both House & Garden and


Homes & Gardens and previously edited the interiors pages of the Daily Telegraph. For ‘Conscious Creativity’ (p44), he


discovers how sustainability has become so central to the strategies of architects, designers and those that supply them.


CHARLOTTE ABRAHAMS


Charlotte Abrahams is a writer, author and occasional curator, specialising in design


and applied arts. She contributes regular features to publications including The Design Edit and Design Anthology


UK, and moderates main stage talks for the Design Centre. Her latest book,


Intelligent Hands: Why Making is a Life Skill was recently published by Quickthorn


Books. In ‘Ode to Joy’ (p20), she talks to French interior designer and architect


Laura Gonzalez, whose welcoming, warm interiors exude a beguiling vibrancy.


EMMA LOVE Emma Love is a writer and editor


specialising in interiors, design and travel. London-based, she is a contributing editor


at Condé Nast Traveller and ELLE Decoration, and also writes for publications such as


The Telegraph, Country & Town House and House & Garden. In ‘Lessons in Comfort’


(p48), she gets the lowdown from interior designers about how to create a space that you can really relax in.


BECKY METCALFE


Becky Metcalfe is head of content at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour.


A passionate advocate for design, she engages with the industry to create


inspiring content across multiple platforms. With an editorial approach to everything


she does, she edits The Journal and curates the talks programmes with globally


renowned speakers, keeping the Design Centre firmly on the map.


EMILY BROOKS


Emily Brooks is an award-winning journalist and editor specialising in interiors,


architecture and design. London-based, she writes for Design Anthology UK and Grand Designs, and is the editor of Design News for the Design Centre.


In ‘Making History’ (p38), she discovers how heritage buildings are turning to experts to refresh and revive their interiors.


ARABELLA MCNIE


Arabella McNie is a renowned creative interiors stylist. Her skill in imaginatively


interpreting a brief has led her to art direct projects both at home and overseas.


As creative director at the Design Centre she has curated the look of key events throughout the year. Her artistic flair, use


of colour, texture and eye for detail can be seen in the bold vignettes she created for ‘Living in Colour’ (p14).
