STYLE FILE Be inspired by design’s hottest talking points

◄ Available at ANDREW MARTIN, Kit Kemp’s rug collection has been created in collaboration with US designer Annie Selke. ‘Eternal Spring’ features a folk-inspired pattern that looks as if it has been enlarged, distorted and pixelated, and comes in a joyous palette of yellow, scarlet, coral and green.

► Taking its design cues from the intricacies of Indian design, this ‘Marnie’ porcelain basin makes a strong argument for more pattern and personality in the bathroom. Find it alongside many other colourful creations at the LONDON BASIN COMPANY.

▼ PLANT DROP is the Design Centre’s first showroom dedicated to plants, but it also supplies statement pots that can show them off to their best. These ‘Tabor’ glazed stoneware vessels by Serax would make the perfect complement to that on-trend black olive tree or lush monstera.

▼ Legendary fashion and textile designer Zandra Rhodes has created a capsule collection for Suffolk silk-weaving house Gainsborough, bringing together traditional manufacturing processes with Rhodes’ bold vision. This ‘O-Gee Whizz’ fabric – in her signature hot pink – is available at GEORGE SPENCER DESIGNS.

▲ JULIAN CHICHESTER’s ‘Grisolles’ dining table, designed by Kathryn Ireland, puts rare and unusual materials to the fore, pairing African walnut legs with a red travertine top. This striking warm-toned stone has also been incorporated into other pieces in its collections.

► Based in Transylvania, MINDTHEGAP is a magnet for lovers of the layered maximalist look. This ‘Suzie’ wallcovering is from its latest Woodstock collection, which was inspired by the free- spirited, boho vibes of the festival of the same name.
