Features of the SAROS 4000 ZOLL’s oxygen concentrator alternative operates at high altitudes up to 13,000ft and can be utilised and stored in extreme climate conditions. Operating on AC, DC and rechargeable battery power, the product can last for over an hour without charge. By offering continuous pulse dose modes to deliver up to 3,000ml/min of oxygen and weighing less than 5.56kg, the SAROS 4000 can be carried and used by soldiers and medics anytime, anywhere.


The SAROS 4000 can replace oxygen cylinders and large oxygen generation equipment in every combat and emergency care scenario, significantly improving logistical considerations when oxygen is needed. It can deliver up to 3,000ml of oxygen per minute thanks to powerful air separation technology – vacuum pressure swing adsorption. CAIRE’s division, AirSep, has led the way in developing this technology, which offers the most efficient way to remove residual nitrogen while delivering high-purity oxygen to the user. This delivery, combined with proprietary clinical features including autoSAT, body, temperature and pressure (BTP) flow compensation, and adjustable pulse sensitivity, ensures patients – even those with a weak inspiratory effort – get the oxygen they need in the most efficacious way possible.
