don’t miss the Sustainability Workshop in C1.1. With the need for the industry to adapt to the global issues of climate change, nature loss and social resilience, we are both part of the problem and part of the solution. This workshop aims to help delegates think through with others the impact and opportunity presented by these challenges and how they can profit from these opportunities. Delegates will be guided through a practical workshop working with peers and will have a workbook with templates for exercises and references to follow on guidance. ●
Opening keynote speaker
Award-winning filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy has been revealed as the opening keynote for ISE 2024. Most widely known for her Academy Award- winning documentary shorts, Saving Face and A Girl in The River: The Price of Forgiveness, Obaid-Chinoy is the first filmmaker from Pakistan to win an Oscar and the first female film director to have won two Oscars by the age of 37. In her keynote, Obaid-Chinoy will talk about the importance of storytelling and how technology is transforming lives.
