Unilin Flooring has launched the updated Moduleo LayRed engineered vinyl flooring range. LayRed is now 100% waterproof, and scratch resistance has been markedly improved with the Protectonite Plus excimer coating. Moduleo has also improved the bevel of LayRed, with the floor now using a milled bevel that takes the pattern all the way to the edge for a more natural looking end result. Moduleo LayRed also features enhanced surface structures on selected designs. LayRed’s wood plank, herringbone and tile designs have been improved, too, while Tile designs have also been extensively updated.

Richard Percy, a contractor specialising in energy upgrade refurbishments, underfloor heating and heating installations, has cited ease of installation, as well as the waterproofing and high insulation values of Marmox Multiboard for his practice of using the coated XPS boards for bathroom fit-outs and other projects. Multiboards are made from extruded polystyrene or XPS encapsulated in reinforced polymer concrete, and are light, easy to cut, and able to sustain substantial loadings.
