Every year, architects and designers, and their clients, head to the FX Awards for a night of networking, fun, food, and, of course, prizes. This year’s black-tie dinner and awards ceremony will be hosted by the impressionist and comedian, Rory Bremner, who will present prestigious FX Awards to both British and international design talent for the very best of interior products and projects. Design Mumbai 26-29 November 2025 Jio World Garden, Mumbai, India
The event will feature a selection of international design brands and local independent studios, and aims to connect India’s creative energy with global innovation, highlighting local talent across the hospitality, retail, workplace and residential sectors. It will include a curated exhibitor line-up, a talks programme called Design Mumbai Exchange, exclusive design installations, and networking events.

House of Cybele 3 December Brighton Pier, Brighton
House of Cybele is a group that celebrates and fosters the specialist talents and skills used to construct and enhance commercial and residential properties. It was established by founder and interior designer Jennifer Anderson Haysom (pictured). This event features expert talks – where guests will gain insight into the engineering, spectacle and colours that brought seaside piers to life – as well as lunch and networking opportunities.

Catwalk: The Art of the Fashion Show Until 15 February 2026 Vitra Design Museum, Weil am Rhein, Germany
This exhibition explores the history and cultural significance of the runway, tracing its evolution from its beginnings around 1900 to the present day. It brings together landmark examples from fashion houses such as Dior, Gucci, Prada and Louis Vuitton, and covers landmark moments, from the theatrical spectacles of Alexander McQueen to dramatic settings such as Fendi at the Great Wall of China.

5 Tools for Transition Until August 2026 Design Museum, London
Tools for Transition is focused on research related to the green transition. The display features projects from UK universities in collaboration with designers, local authorities and communities, aimed at promoting sustainable living and community impact. One project, Design Hopes, is investigating ways for NHS Scotland to lower its carbon footprint by mapping material flows in hospitals and identifying alternatives to plastic.
