BORDERING PARK LANE and Shepherd Market, Te Shepherd Mayfair Hotel aims to reinterpret British luxury through a modern lens.
Project
The Shepherd Mayfair, London
Left The Shepherd Mayfair Hotel is an 82-key hotel
Timothy Shepherd, founder of Shepherd&, designed Te Shepherd Mayfair while MD at BGY ID, Buckley Gray Yeoman’s interior design arm. He took the lead on the project, and was supported by previous BGY staff and fellow Shepherd& founders, Marko Gligorov, Sara Rosellini and Freda Shepherd. Every element of the interior design, including the curated materials and textures, has been selected to reflect British design tradition and the building’s history. Colour palettes shift from deep, warm tones in shared spaces to refined cooler shades in the guest rooms. Custom details, such as a reimagined banker’s lamp, chess tables and silver trays add layers of personality and opulence. Beyond the rooms and suites, Te Shepherd Mayfair Hotel is also home to Teddy’s, a cocktail bar beneath the hotel. Designed to draw in the late-night crowd, it offers sophistication and features Liberty archive fabrics paired with hand-picked photography from the George McLeod portfolio. Fayre, the ground floor brasserie, introduces curated wallcoverings from Adam Ellis Studio, while the lobby café/bar softens the guest arrival experience with lounge-like comfort, encouraging pause but also work and conversation. Te artwork selection plays a key role, bringing the space to life with a curated mix of images.

Project Ritz-Carlton Amman, Jordan
THE RITZ-CARLTON Amman is a new landmark in the Jordanian capital. As well as various dining options, the hotel’s facilities include a spa, wellness area, fitness centre, and flexible conference rooms.
In contrast to the classic Arabian style of the external facade, the interior is distinguished by art deco elements and modern art. Te upmarket style of the furnishings is also reflected in the marble bathrooms fitted with products
from Villeroy & Boch, which has supplied sanitary items from different series, baths in both freestanding and built-in versions, as well as taps for washbasins, showers and baths.
