LX HAUSYS LOUIS DE POORTERE
The traditional bi-coloured designs of Morocco’s Beni Ouarain tribe are the inspiration behind Berber, the latest addition to the Structures Collection of textured Ecorugs by Louis De Poortere. Translating the ancient tribal patterns with a vibrant, contemporary palette, Berber reinterprets the hand-woven originals for today’s home. The bold, high-contrast colour combinations, textures changes and simplistic patterning breathe new life into the rich heritage of the design. The rug is available in eight sizes, ranging from 80x150cm up to 280x390cm, with a 240cm circular option. Berber is machine woven from 40% recycled PET (polyester). In fact, the whole rug is made from polyester so that it can be recycled through the Take Care programme.
