Are you a General Manager from a Timber background looking for a position within a rapidly expanding family-owned business and that would like the opportunity to help develop and grow our newly acquired production facility based in Huntly Aberdeenshire?
Established in 1994, Dunster House Ltd is a rapidly expanding family run international business currently employing over 300 people across our 9 UK sites and over 300 employees in our three sister factories in Europe.
With 27 years of experience in designing, manufacturing and retailing garden lifestyle products we are proud to be one of the Country’s leading Timber Lifestyle Product Manufacturers, Suppliers and we distribute these with our own fleet of vehicles direct to our customers.
We are now seeking an EXPERIENCED General Manager to oversee the running our newly acquired Timber Lifestyle Production Facility alongside our WPC Extrusion plant, supplying our UK Distribution Branches.
Previous experience in a similar environment is essential, along with strong leadership skills. You will take overall responsibility of the site operations and Health and Safety ensuring all Production Manufacturing is carried out in a timely manner and within the set timescales. You will also ensure that all manufactured goods are fit for purpose and that meet the required quality and standard. You will link with our Headquarters management team for the planning and movement of the products manufactured in the production facilities.

We are offering an excellent salary to the right candidate, starting at £50,000 gross per annum, rising to £55,000 gross per annum, after 6 months and rising to £60,000 gross after a further 6 months.

WPC Extrusion Plant Production Manager
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Extrusion Plant Production Manager has arisen in our rapidly growing Company. Are you looking for a challenge and to be part of the start up process for our new production venture based in Huntly Aberdeenshire?

With 27 years of experience designing, manufacturing and retailing garden lifestyle products we are proud to be one of the leading manufacturers of Life Style Timber Garden products and we distribute these with our own fleet of vehicles direct to our customers.
Due to our rapid growth Dunster House Ltd now seeks an experienced Extrusion Plant Production Manager to assist in running our newly acquired Manufacturing Production Facility based in Huntly, Aberdeenshire.
As an EXPERIENCED Extrusion Plant Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing the overall functioning of WPC Extrusion processes and its staff, including understanding and adhering to Safe Work Practices including Good Manufacturing Practices, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) ensuring these are adhered to daily.
You will be responsible for the overall Health and Safety of the Production area and those working within it. You will be responsible identifying improvement areas and implementing adequate measures to perform quality control checks, maximize productivity and that work is completed within the set timescales. You will be responsible for ensuring that all manufactured items are of a fit for purpose quality and to ensure quality control.
