SMARTECH
At LIGNA 2025, SMARTECH takes centre stage – featured in partner booths (Hexion, Siempelkamp, Andritz) and at our own: Hall 26, C38. As raw material costs rise and skilled labour shrinks, manufacturers need smarter solutions. SMARTECH delivers with AI-powered production and smart
material systems that reduce wax by up to 40% and resin by 15%, all while improving quality and consistency. Now part of Hexion, SMARTECH is accelerating innovation – combining AI with advanced chemistry for integrated, sustainable manufacturing. We’re also addressing operator shortages with a groundbreaking AI tool debuting at LIGNA: a game-changing solution for fast, confident onboarding and quality control. Named “Smart Manufacturing Company of the Year” at the 2025 IoT Breakthrough Awards, SMARTECH is leading the Manewfacturing revolution. Visit us at LIGNA 2025 to get custom
ROI analysis and discover how AI is transforming wood production – one panel at a time.

TURBODEN Turboden Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) in the wood-based panel industry is a new way to be free from fluctuations in electricity prices, while reducing CO2
emissions and increasing
Additionally, we are expanding our sifter portfolio, offering more flexible solutions for complete MDF fibre preparation lines, including the EVOfuge steam recovery system and the unique IRIS resin application system, combined with high-performance MDF dryers.
Our brand-new Environmental Systems business unit will introduce innovative emission control and abatement technologies, helping to meet regulatory demands while improving operational efficiency.
SUNDS FIBERTECH At LIGNA 2025, Sunds Fibertech is unveiling cutting-edge innovations across four key areas. Two years ago, MDF recycling was just an idea – this LIGNA, it’s a reality. Sunds Fibertech has developed an advanced cleaning system designed to efficiently separate contaminants like melamine paper residues from recovered fibre.
Finally, Sunds Fibertech will showcase
the latest upgrades for ContiPress systems. Since acquiring the business in 2024, we’ve enhanced service and spare parts support, along with developing intelligent upgrades that ensure long-term competitiveness for your systems. Visit us to explore how we can elevate your next project. HALL 26, STAND D28/2
energy efficiency. Production of PB, OSB, and MDF is an energy-intensive process due to the high heat and power demand. Turboden biomass-fired combined heat and power (CHP) ORC systems enable the heat-only biomass-fired system to also produce electric power, freeing the production process from unpredictable fluctuations in electricity prices.
The typical configuration of Turboden’s
ORC in WBP production is: 1. PB and OSB production with belt dryer: conventional Turboden biomass-fired ORC systems can be dimensioned to cover 100% of heat demand for drying system and cogenerate renewable electric power for own consumption. 2. MDF production: Conventional Turboden biomass-fired ORC systems can be dimensioned to cover up to 50% of heat demand for drying system and 100% of makeup water for the refiner and cogenerate renewable electric power for own consumption. USNR
USNR is the most diverse supplier of high- quality solutions for the EWP industry. USNR’s legendary COE lathe and
BlockLogix optimisation system provides the highest recovery, greatest throughput, and highest quality veneer in the industry. USNR’s AI-driven NV4G grading system scans the ribbon for grade and clip decisions before sheets, random width veneer, and trash are sorted by the original patented Ventek spike-belt Multiple Point Diverter System (MPDS) ahead of sheet and random stackers. USNR’s COE veneer dryers are
renowned for consistently producing high- quality veneer with a uniform dry moisture content and aesthetic appearance for softwood and hardwood applications. Decades of development have made this system the most productive and efficient in the industry, all while using the least amount of energy and minimising exhaust. Proudly building upon the tradition
of excellence begun by Washington Iron Works, Pathex, and Mann-Russell, USNR offers complete press systems for LVL, OSB, MDF, doorskins, particleboard, CLT, and other composites. HALL 25, STAND D65
