offering high versatility and speeds up to 180m/min. Key developments include:
• EvoL-CLT for cross-laminated timber, handling widths up to 4000mm and thicknesses up to 700mm, with over 50 machines installed.
• EvoL-GLT for glulam beams, processing sections up to 2600x700mm with four- side sanding in one pass, now featuring “Edge Easier” for continuous edge rounding.
IMEAS IMEAS, based in Villa Cortese (Milan) and with offices in China, the US and Australia, will showcase its latest sanding and finishing solutions at LIGNA 2025. The EvoL series is designed for MDF, HDF, particleboard, plywood, and OSB,
For synthetic panels, IMEAS presents the HS (HPL Sander), a compact, modular solution for sheet and continuous processing. The Full Control System (FCS) integrates AI and predictive analytics for fully automated sanding, reducing human intervention and ensuring real-time production monitoring. INTEC ENGINEERING GMBH INTEC Engineering GmbH is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. This family-run, globally active German company has made a name for itself in the field of process heat and power generation. INTEC develops, manufactures and
delivers systems for supplying production with thermal oil, steam, hot water or hot gas for the manufacture of wood-based materials such as chipboard, MDF, OSB, LVL as well as for plywood, veneer and pellet production – gas or oil-fired or with solid fuel firing as a complete energy centre. INTEC biomass firing systems are designed for typical fuels such as residual wood, wood chips, bark, sanding dust, sawdust and other production residues, supplemented by various other biomasses and coal. Heat generation is completed with modules for power generation, based on the ORC principle, up to power plants or combined heat and power plants. Visit us at LIGNA 2025! HALL 26, STAND F62
Press belt manufacturer IPCO is to highlight engineering and service expertise at LIGNA 2025. IPCO, a global leader in steel press belts for the wood-based panel industry, supplies OEMs and end users worldwide, and has a history of innovation including the world’s first steel belt and the longest press belt ever produced. Customers benefit from global service delivered by local teams, supported by a specialised press priority team. IPCO will debut its ProRelease release agent delivery system, which reduces consumption by up to 90%, increases productivity and panel quality, and reduces environmental impact. Other notable tools include the Shotpeener Pro for restoring deformed press belt, and the QuickDisc Plus 500 for replacing damaged belt sections. Other highlights will include IPCO’s advanced ScatterPro C system for precise corundum scattering in flooring production, and its precision belts and High-Speed Tracking (HST) system, used in digital printing for applications including edge banding in the furniture industry. KLEIBERIT The revolutionary impact of KLEIBERIT‘s HotCoating technology on surface finishing has been evident across a wide range of applications for years. From the furniture and flooring industries to outdoor applications such as façades, decking, and outdoor furniture, HotCoating has successfully established itself worldwide.
At LIGNA 2025, KLEIBERIT will unveil a
world-first roll-to-roll system capable of coating sheet materials with thicknesses up to 12mm. This high-performance industrial machine, with a working width of up to 1600mm, achieves processing
speeds of up to 60m per minute. Visitors can witness the coating of flooring materials produced by Swiss HotCoating user LICO, using recycled leather scraps from industrial waste streams. The resulting sustainable flooring product consists of approximately 55% leather fibres, 25% natural rubber as a binder, 10% water, and 10% plant-based oils. The same 1600mm HotCoating system can also be used for paper or thermoplastic films, opening new possibilities for cladding large-format, three-dimensional elements such as door panels.
