Global Port Equipment and Forkliftcenter will share a stand at TOC Americas 2026 for the first time.
offers upgrade routes for spreaders already in service – control system upgrades, monitoring retrofits and electrification paths that avoid rebuilding surrounding infrastructure. For monitoring and data, Bromma SMS
and Bromma Hawkeye place condition monitoring, container identification and visual data on the spreader itself. For service, the value is knowing what is happening before something fails. Products on the booth will include the all- electric STS45E G2 – verified to ISO 14067 at 87% lower operational emissions than the hydraulic equivalent, and already in service at Long Beach Container Terminal. In addition, regional service specialists will be on the stand throughout the show.
Forkliftcenter & Global Port Equipment, B24
Global Port Equipment and Forkliftcenter share a stand at TOC Americas 2026 for the first time, and for both brands Cartagena is close to home. Forkliftcenter was founded in Amsterdam in 2002 and trades worldwide from offices in Panama, Colombia, Spain, Nigeria, Australia and Dubai. Global Port Equipment (GPE) is the group’s port and terminal brand, covering the heavier end of the range: reach stackers, empty container handlers, heavy forklifts, terminal tractors and material handlers, with dealerships with Konecranes, Terberg and Mantsinen. Because vehicles cannot be brought
into the halls, the stand is built around the portfolio rather than a single machine. Visitors can review current availability across
the group’s stock and talk to the people who source, inspect and ship it. Two themes run through the stand:
availability and regional presence. Terminals in the region are waiting a long time for new equipment, whereas a well-sourced used or refurbished unit can be working within weeks rather than months. And when it comes to regional presence, offices in Panama and Colombia mean inspection, documentation, shipping and aftersales are handled in the region rather than from Europe. GPE recently announced it will offer Mevea’s crane and port equipment simulators, together with associated training solutions, to customers worldwide.
Kalmar, D30
At this year’s event, the Kalmar team will showcase the Kalmar electric reachstacker with a VR experience. Featuring a modular battery pack and a range of charging solutions, the Kalmar ERG450 has lifting capacities up to 45t. With virtual reality demos, visitors can experience what it feels like to move containers in this machine. Kalmar will also present its T2i Terminal
Tractor at this trade show. In addition, on 21 October, Marcelo Goncalves, VP of Kalmar Latin America, will join the Tech Toc session ‘How can Americas ports power the next wave of fleet electrification?’ to address the journey for fleet electrification in ports and terminals.
Liebherr Maritime Cranes, D40 Liebherr Maritime Cranes will bring a multidisciplinary team of sales, service and
product specialists to TOC Americas 2026. With expertise from across the Americas and Liebherr’s maritime crane manufacturing network, the team will support discussions covering port and terminal operations throughout Latin America and the US. Visitors can speak directly with specialists about electrification, energy efficiency, automation and remote operation. The team will also address operational priorities such as equipment utilisation, cargo-handling productivity and fleet availability. Expertise across container, bulk, general cargo and heavy-lift applications will help operators assess which technologies and service strategies best suit their specific requirements. Life cycle performance will form a central part of Liebherr’s presence at the event. Service specialists will discuss ways to reduce unplanned downtime, increase equipment availability and extend service life through preventive maintenance, modernisation and original spare parts support. These conversations can help operators evaluate maintenance priorities and make informed decisions about upgrading or replacing existing equipment. Visitors can also learn about Liebherr’s life cycle programmes, including Transform and CarePacks. Transform supports the modernisation and adaptation of existing machines, while CarePacks provide structured service options designed to support reliable operation and maintenance planning. Liebherr specialists will help visitors explore how these programmes may contribute to fleet performance and asset utilisation. By bringing regional market knowledge,
