Southeast Asia’s industrial construction project pipeline is valued at $573bn, reflecting the region’s rising role as a global manufacturing base, a strategic alternative for supply-chain diversification and an increasingly attractive location for digital infrastructure. Within this
pipeline, Indonesia is the largest market, accounting for $243.8bn – around 42.6% of the Southeast Asia total – supported by policy initiatives and investment programmes designed to deepen domestic production. A major focus is the EV ecosystem and the upstream-to- downstream battery value chain. Indonesia is targeting accelerated EV adoption, with goals to deploy 12 million electric two-wheelers and two million electric cars by 2030. These ambitions are
tied to broader industrial development goals, and are likely to translate into continued demand for industrial estates, utilities infrastructure, specialised process facilities and supporting logistics. The Philippines is also positioning for EV
