MUST-SEE EXHIBITORS Beyond the awards and the seminars, there are networking events. But Breakbulk Europe is also a place to do business, with hundreds of suppliers showcasing their equipment and solutions. Here is DLM’s top picks of exhibitors that visitors must see:

1. Konecranes - booth 2H10-J11 Konecranes will be showcasing its recently launched E-ACE, the electric version of its trusted Konecranes Liftace range. Another step towards the total electrification of its product portfolio, the first in the E-ACE series are empty container handlers for 9.0t and 10t loads. They went on sale in Asia in late 2024 and are rolling out in other markets this year. The Konecranes Liftace has been a

mainstay at container terminals for many years, delivering high productivity and ease of use. The E-ACE brings the same features, lifting attachments and performance, but with zero tailpipe emissions to meet growing demand for electrified container operations. The Konecranes E-ACE empty container

handler is powered by a lithium-ion (Li- ion) battery pack that will run the truck’s electric motors for six to 12 hours. If the local grid can support fast charging, the batteries can be recharged in less than an hour using a standard CCS connector – or a GB/T connector in Asia. The battery is protected by a water glycol solution to

ensure it maintains the right temperature for smoother charge and discharge as well as safer operation. The high-voltage platform and

regenerative braking combine with load- sensing hydraulics to optimise energy efficiency. Konecranes’ OPTIMA cabin offers the driver an ergonomic console and a wide and an unobstructed view of the work area for easy control of the vehicle. Electric power lowers noise and vibration by up to 50% for even more comfort and safety. Like all of Konecranes’ Smart Connected

Lift Trucks, the E-ACE range uses Konecranes TRUCONNECT telematics. This collects real-time data including battery charge monitoring, energy consumption, the amount of energy recovered from braking, as well as alarms, alerts and other diagnostics. It securely transmits this data to the yourKONECRANES customer portal, enabling operators to monitor and control the truck’s operational efficiency, productivity, safety and environmental impact. It joins Konecranes’ flagship E-VER electric

forklifts on the booth. The company recently added a heavy-duty version for lifting capacities of 18t to 25t, giving the E-VER wider versatility for applications in heavy industries such as steel, mining and ports, without compromising on performance. A combination of high voltage and

low current enhances energy efficiency, allowing the truck to use up to 90% of available energy. With growing industry
