lifting solutions provider Kito
Crosby has introduced its renewed and improved Kito Erikkila jib crane series, designed to enhance performance and efficiency. The jib cranes aim to
address growing customer needs with a focus on safety, ease of installation and cost-effectiveness. They feature an
adjustable jib shaft bearing for simpler installation, along with an optional mounting plate that allows installation on thinner floors using chemical anchors. The improvements are part of the company’s optimised design strategy to provide competitively priced solutions without compromising on quality. Additional enhancements include a user-friendly slewing limiter that is quicker to install. Customers can now select from
standard options such as round cable, hot-dip galvanisation, and custom colours, broadening the versatility of the jib cranes. Kito Crosby’s Kito Erikkila business MD Knut Stewen said: “Our customers’ feedback has been invaluable in shaping these improvements. “By refining the design and optimising key components, we have created a more

number of key attributes. The unlimited duty cycle ensures uninterrupted
operation for heavy-duty applications that require continuous performance. A spring- loaded multi-vane motor design allows for smooth operation and controlled travel, while drop stops and rubber bumpers enhance safety. Bronze side guide rollers provide additional stability and a smooth ride, and the versatile bronze wheels can fit flat or tapered beam flanges. A trolley muffler helps maintain a quiet operation, contributing to a more comfortable environment for operators. Also, the load chain is nickel-plated for
spark resistance, and the bottom hooks are bronze-coated, ensuring both durability and safety in explosive environments.
