Craddock Court offers high-quality age exclusive housing for older people allowing residents to live comfortably, securely, and independently whilst in the knowledge that help is there if they need it. Each purpose-built property designed for people age 55 or over consists of a kitchen, lounge, bathroom and bedroom with a 24-hour alarm service. A wide range of facilities include residents and visitors lounge, laundry and a communal lounge.
Atlas decorative bulkhead style luminaires were fitted in the front entrance, lobby, WC’s, corridors and stairwells, with another popular bulkhead, the Celeste in the communal lounge. LuxPack batten style fittings were used in the lift area, along with the Mosi bulkhead complete with microwave sensor for the boiler and laundry area.
Linear Academy was installed in the apartments, kitchen areas and offices. Academy benefits from an opal prism diffuser with screw secured endcaps and can be surface mounted or suspended and features a central cable entry with BESA fixings spaced at 600mm, so is ideal for retrofitting in place of traditional fluorescent fittings.
Climate Extra was used in the utility environments including the electrical and heating plants and bin storage. Climate Extra is a robust LED IP65 rated luminaire offering an efficacy of 140 Llm/cW with
increased performance for improved energy efficiency and an opal diffuser enhancing the appearance and uniformity. Available with integral microwave sensors in on /off or 10% corridor function or batten fit PIR sensors, Climate Extra can also be supplied with DALI drivers and emergency back-up variants including Self-Test.
Outside, the driveway was lit with Deco Bollards and Sloane 2.0, both exterior amenity lighting from Kingfisher, part of the Luceco group. Deco is a classic robust bollard offering low-glare illumination with a switchable output and emergency and photocell options. Sloane is a Class 2, IP65 rated 60W, 4000K post top spherical luminaire ideal for large amenity applications where sensitivity to the lit area is required. Suitable for use with control systems and consisting of a precision manufactured optic distribution system, applications include urban and civic spaces, parks and pedestrian areas.
