Wet Areas can be used to describe facilities such as plant rooms and stores, basically a room where there is increased risk of ingress of water or dust to the luminaire. High colour temperature, IP rated luminaires need to provide task lighting in the most practical way possible in these semi harsh lit environments with plant and laundry spaces lit to 300 lux at floor level as a guide.
