ABR’s Legacy of Giving Lives On By Mario Macaluso
ccent Building Restoration Inc., commonly known as ABR, is a premier
provider of restoration services for self- storage and other commercial facilities across the nation. From painting services to maintenance and repairs, and roll door restoration to graphics and imaging, they’re known as a one-stop-shop for qual- ity services. They’re also known for the superiority of their staff and the personal touch they provide for every project. For over two and a half decades, ABR has been synonymous with consistency and care.
“It’s kind of astonishing to see how
we’ve grown,” says ABR President Jon Fawcett. “We started as an idea out of a small garage in California, and 25-plus years later we became a leading restoration service company. We’re very happy with the success we’ve seen and owe it to our supportive community and the talented team at ABR.”
With over 100 employees and 95
percent of ABR’s services performed by in-house staff, ABR has garnered a repu- tation as one of the most popular and trusted restoration service companies in the nation. When asked what sets ABR apart from other competitors, the Fawcett brothers agreed it was their people. “It really comes down to our employees; they make ABR what it is,” says Jamey Fawcett, former President and current CEO of ABR. “Jon and I both believe that the strength of any company is measured by the quality

and experience of the people that work there. No other company is like ABR, because no other company has the team of people and the back- ing of a strong community like we do.”
“There are many organizations out there
that use subcontractors to complete jobs, which is great,” adds Jon. “However, I think because our team is in-house and they specialize in the services we offer, we’re able to serve our clients more effectively and more clearly understand their needs.”
ABR’s commitment to service doesn’t
stop at the door of their company. The Fawcett brothers, with the enthusiastic

support of their staff, have prioritized giving back to their communities through- out the company’s long history. Both brothers agree one of their strongest communities over the years has been self- storage. With a presence in the industry since 1997, and self-storage accounting for the majority of its business today, ABR is always seeking ways to reinvest in the community that helped build them.
