LaTerra Development has hired Erik Svensson as COO. With more than 13 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, he most recently served as senior vice president of capital deployment for Prologis. Svensson has held CFO roles at BH Properties, RREEF America LLC, and Watt Cos., and spent 10 years with Public Storage Inc., where he oversaw the commercial real estate portfolio and closed more than $4 billion in assets. He earned a bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic State University and a master’s degree from Saint Mary’s College; he’s also a licensed CPA in the state.
The Hatcher Coe Group of Marcus & Milli- chap has promoted Luke Dawley to senior associate. Dawley, who joined the firm in 2019, primarily focuses on the Northeast region of the United States and has closed over $104 million in commercial real estate.
Norman Shore has been appointed to the role of vice president of operations at the William Warren Group (WWG). He has more than 20 years of self-storage experience and most recently served as vice president of asset management at Alpha Storage Properties.
Shore’s also held various management roles at Kayne Anderson, Centershift Software, OB Companies, U-Store-It, and Public Stor- age. He has Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in education from Temple University.
Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC) has hired Alex Rhodes as an accounts payable specialist to handle
the intake and approval of invoices for the accounts payable department. He will also be tasked with invoice entry and vendor payments for Moove In Self Storage facilities. Prior to joining IREGC, Rhodes worked within the accounting departments of several other companies. He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
