brought heartbreak. “I’ve lost an officer I was representing,” she says quietly. “Without question, that’s the hardest thing I’ve ever dealt with as a rep.” The experience remains with her. “You always wonder whether you

Reflecting on her career,


she adds: “I’ve been privileged to be involved in some incredible jobs. What I’m most proud of is hopefully getting the balance right, supporting officers, telling it how it is, and still getting the job done. “I can be fiery, but I’m passionate


about making a difference. Whatever hat I’m wearing, I hope that’s what people remember.”
