TIME FOR POLICE UNITY TOUR 2026

Registrations are now open for the UK Police Unity Tour 2026, giving officers and staff the chance to take part in one of policing’s most meaningful fundraising events.

The Unity Tour is a long-distance cycle ride held annually by police officers and staff across the country. Now entering its 14th year, the 2026 event will run from 6–9 August, raising awareness and funds for Care of Police Survivors (COPS), the charity that supports families of officers and staff who have died in service. The ride is both a physical challenge

and a symbolic act of remembrance. Participants cycle in honour of fallen colleagues, wearing the distinctive blue jerseys introduced in 2024. Each rider sets up a fundraising page, with all proceeds going directly to COPS. The Tour culminates at the National Arboretum, where survivors and supporters gather for a memorial service. The event is organised through regional chapters, which form the

backbone of the Tour. Each chapter represents a geographic area or force, arranging training rides, logistics and fundraising. Rider fees, usually between £150 and £200, cover accommodation and support costs. This structure allows officers to join locally, build camaraderie, and train together before converging nationally for the event. Getting involved is straightforward. Officers, staff and supporters can register via the UKPUT website, select their chapter, and begin fundraising. Fitness levels vary widely among participants, and chapters provide guidance and support to ensure everyone can take part. The UK Police Unity Tour 2026 promises to be one of the largest yet, with more chapters than ever before and growing public recognition of its

cause. For those who ride, it is a chance to honour fallen colleagues, support bereaved families, and demonstrate the enduring strength of the policing community.

JOIN THE RIDE – UKPUT 2026 Registrations are now open for the UK Police Unity Tour to be held from 6–9 August 2026. Cycle in honour of fallen colleagues, raise funds for Care of Police Survivors, and be part of your regional chapter.
