ADVERTORIAL
2025. These gatherings play an important role in professional development, welfare, and connection between officers, and we are proud to be a consistent partner in ensuring they continue to grow.
Getting Involved Beyond Mortgages Our commitment to the police community extends beyond financial services. This year, we proudly sponsored the West Mercia Police Rugby Team—a group with incredible dedication on and off the field. The partnership became even more memorable when our own Henry laced up his boots to play alongside the officers during a summer tournament. The team put in a fantastic performance and ultimately secured victory, making the experience even more special. Being able to join officers in activities outside the typical working environment allowed us to see the camaraderie, teamwork, and humour that define so much of the policing community. It also reinforced our belief that supporting wellbeing and morale is just as important as offering financial expertise.
Providing Resources for Every Stage of a Policing Career Another major milestone for us in 2025 was the launch of our updated Police Mortgage Guide, tailored specifically for officers and staff at every career stage— from new recruits navigating their first home purchase to officers preparing for retirement and considering their long- term options. The guide has been very well received, with federations frequently sharing it as a valuable and accessible resource for their members. The aim was to demystify the mortgage process, address the unique pay structures and challenges that police personnel often face, and offer clear guidance on everything from probation restrictions to borrowing in retirement. Based on the strong feedback, we will continue to update and expand this guide to ensure it remains relevant and supportive.
Looking Ahead to 2026 As we reflect on the year, the key
theme has been connection—being present, being accessible, and being genuinely supportive. With more officers reaching out for guidance, more federations partnering with us, and more opportunities to engage directly with the policing community, we are excited to continue building on this momentum. As the mortgage partner for MyPFEW, Quick Mortgages remains committed to offering free, expert mortgage advice to all police officers and staff, with the goal of making life’s big financial decisions a little easier, clearer, and less stressful. We look forward to supporting even more federations, attending more events, and delivering more roadshows throughout 2026. Most importantly, we look forward to continuing to serve the policing community—one conversation, one station visit, and one mortgage at a time.
