As we reflect on the recent elections, it is important to congratulate the newly elected Federation representatives (Fed reps) and extend our heartfelt thanks to those who are stepping down for their unwavering dedication and hard work.
Throughout their careers, police officers may encounter unforeseen challenges, whether it’s an on-duty accident, an allegation, or feeling unfairly treated. Fed reps are there to offer critical support and expert advice when it’s needed most. They represent members in areas such as conduct, pay, allowances, terms and conditions, equality, professional development, and operational policing. This support is invaluable, providing officers with the reassurance that they are not alone in facing these challenges. Becoming a Fed rep is a rewarding opportunity to help fellow officers and make a meaningful impact on
