Katie Walsh Gilbert and her husband Jon welcomed their son, Nolan, in August 2021. Big sister Ava is loving sibling life. They live in Charlotte. Katie was named partner at the family law firm where she has worked since 2016, and she continues to maintain Certified Family Law Specialist status with the North Carolina State Bar.
Charlotte Blackley ’14, who has a career in the airline industry, and her Queens roommate, Julie, were able to connect in Paris.
2009 Kevin O’Donnell moved back to the Queen City in May of this year after spending 11 years in his hometown of Richmond, Virginia. Kevin will continue his career as an estate planning attorney with Ascension Law, located near South Park Mall and down the street from Dickson Field, where he played as a member of the men’s soccer team.
Starkesha Daye is a Ph.D. student in the rehabilitation counseling and counselor education program at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
2012 Missy Olson Lloyd and her husband, Kent Lloyd, welcomed their son, Holden River Lloyd, to the world on October 6, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Missy currently works as a clinical mental health counselor associate in the Charlotte area.
2014 Chelsey Sanderson is thrilled to announce that she has been selected as the director of business development for the newly launched Food & Beverage Social Club in Charlotte. The club will host premier culinary experiences around the Queen City. She hopes to see some fellow Royals at future events.
