Alumni Celebrate Historic Reunion Weekend Class
There was plenty of excitement on campus April 1-2, as more than 400 alumni celebrated the biggest reunion in Queens’ history. The Classes of 1970, 1971, and 1972 celebrated their 50th anniversaries and a record-breaking number of 36 classes came back together to share old memories and new experiences. Alumni were treated to student-led tours of new buildings on campus including the Sarah Belk Gambrell Center for the Arts and Civic Engagement. The festivities included a Decades Party in Queens Hall and on Hall Brown Terrace on Friday evening followed by the President’s Luncheon and class parties on Saturday.
